The SLC Angels (formerly the Olympus Angels) is an association of accredited angel investors based in Salt Lake City that share an interest in investing in early-stage, high-tech companies with substantial growth potential.  The SLC Angels provide mentoring and invest in promising entrepreneurial companies to help them grow and prosper. SLC angel members are drawn from a variety of backgrounds and share a common interest in mentoring, supporting, and investing in early-stage ventures.  We invest in areas where we believe we can add value beyond the net sum of our capital.   We primarily evaluate and invest in deals in and near the Inter-mountain West or that have a strong connection with our group.

The group desires to contribute positively to the economic growth in Utah by enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region by providing needed seed capital and mentoring to promising startups to help them to grow. We expect the impact of our actions and investments to be the enhancement of viable, fundable companies that will drive economic activity, create jobs and wealth and enhance Utah’s reputation as a great place for entrepreneurs to do business over the long term. We expect our investments to achieve an appropriate risk weighted return on capital invested.
